Executive Directors

? Dr. Howard C. Yang

Dr. Howard C. Yang co-founded Montage Technology with Mr. Stephen Kuong-Io Tai in 2004 and has since served as Chairman of the Board, Executive Director, CEO and Chief Scientist. He has extensive experience in engineering, R&D, and corporate leadership. Dr. Yang worked on the design and development of integrated circuits at National Semiconductor Corporation from 1990 and later served as Head of new product development at Shanghai Belling Microelectronics Co., Ltd. from 1994. In 1997, Dr. Yang founded Newave Technology and served as its President until 2001, when the company merged with IDT. Dr. Yang was elected as an IEEE Fellow in 2010 and elevated to IEEE Life Fellow in 2023. He has received numerous awards, including the IEEE CAS Industrial Pioneer Award, the JEDEC Distinguished Executive Leadership Award, the Shanghai Magnolia Gold Award, and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2023 Mainland China Award. He was also named to the 2025 Forbes China Best CEOs list. Dr. Yang holds both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University in the United States.

? Mr. Stephen Kuong-Io Tai

Mr. Stephen Kuong-Io Tai co-founded Montage Technology with Dr. Howard C. Yang in 2004 and has been serving as Executive Director and President. He has extensive experience in engineering design, R&D, and corporate management. From 1994 to 1995, he worked as a senior design engineer at Sigmax Technology. ?From 1995 to 2003, he was a founding core team member of Marvell Technology Group and served as Director of Engineering and R&D. Mr. Tai was awarded the Shanghai Magnolia Gold Award in 2025. He received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Non-executive Directors

? Dr. Wang Rui

Dr. Wang Rui is a Non-executive Director of Montage Technology. Dr. Wang once worked at Cadence and AMD, and joined Intel Corporation in 1994 and has held various senior management positions, including Technology Development Manager of the Platform Engineering Group, Vice President of the Platform Engineering Group and General Manager of the Mixed-signal IP Solutions Group, General Manager of the Technical Support Group, Director of Key Accounts at Intel China, Corporate Vice President of the Sales and Marketing Group and China Country Manager, Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation, and Chairman of Intel China. Dr. Wang Rui holds a Master of Science in Engineering, a Master of Philosophy, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.

? Ms. Fang Zhoujie

Ms. Fang Zhoujie is a Non-executive Director of Montage Technology. Ms. Fang joined Montage Technology in July 2018 and has held various positions, including Board Office Specialist, Senior Board Office Specialist. She currently serves as Supervisor of General Affairs of the Board Office. From September 2021 to June 2024, she served as Employee Representative Supervisor, participating in the decision-making of the Supervisory Board. In June 2024, she was appointed Employee Representative Director of the Company, participating in the Board of Directors as an employee representative. Ms. Fang holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Zhejiang International Studies University.

Independent Non-executive Directors

? Dr. Li Ruoshan

Dr. Li Ruoshan is an Independent Non-executive Director of Montage Technology. Dr. Li has over 40 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management, as well as extensive academic expertise in teaching and research. He previously served as Head of the Finance Department, Professor of Accounting and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Management, Fudan University, as well as the Deputy Head of the Accounting Department and Deputy Dean of the School of Economics at Xiamen University. Currently, Dr. Li serves as Chairman of the Independent Directors Committee of the China Association for Public Companies, Independent Director of Spring Airlines Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Conglin Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Dr. Li graduated from Xiamen University with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Ph.D. in Auditing.

? Professor Ko Ping Keung

Professor Ko Ping Keung is an Independent Non-executive Director of Montage Technology. Professor Ko has extensive experience in industry, professional fields, and academia. He has previously served as Associate Dean, Professor, and Director of the Microelectronics Manufacturing Institute at the University of California, Berkeley, as well as Visiting Professor in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering and Dean of the School of Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Currently, Professor Ko serves as Independent Non-executive Director of Henderson Investment Limited, Henderson Land Development Company Limited, and VTech Holdings Limited, and as Non-executive Director of OneRobotics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. He also serves as a Director of Beken Corporation, SmartSens Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Googol Technology Co., Ltd. Professor Ko holds a Bachelor¡¯s degree with Honours in Physics from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

? Dr. Yuhua Cheng?

Dr. Yuhua Cheng is an Independent Non-executive Director of Montage Technology. Dr. Cheng has extensive experience in semiconductor research, microelectronics, and corporate management. He conducted postdoctoral research at Peking University, focusing on semiconductor devices, and subsequently held positions as Lecturer and Associate Professor at Peking University. He also served as a Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. He once worked at Cadence, Rockwell, Conexant, Skyworks and founded Siliconlinx, a circuit design technology services company. Currently, Dr. Cheng serves as Professor at the School of Integrated Circuits at Peking University, and as the Dean of Shanghai Institute of Microelectronics at Peking University, overseeing research projects and operational management. Dr. Cheng was also elected a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Dr. Cheng holds a Master's degree in Semiconductor Research from Tianjin University and a Ph.D. in Microelectronics from Tsinghua University.

? Dr. Shan Hailing

Dr. Shan Hailing is an Independent Non-executive Director of Montage Technology. Dr. Shan has over 30 years of academic and professional experience in international law, intellectual property law, and cross-border labor law, with a focus on legal research and teaching. She previously served as Associate Professor at East China University of Political Science and Law, and as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Law, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Dr. Shan is a member of the International Law Association, a member of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, and an Executive Council Member of the China Society of Private International Law. Dr. Shan holds a Bachelor¡¯s degree in Law from East China University of Political Science and Law, and a Ph.D. in Law from Ghent University, Belgium.
